Partners needed for Raw Material Commitments RMCs within The Strategic Implementation Plan (SIP) of the EIP on Raw Materials.
Summary:
A Polish R-Y-D organization involved in interdepartmental activities related to rock mining, activities ranging from testing of raw materials, through technology and machinery, processing, development of technologies for construction materials based on primary and secondary raw material is looking for partners for Raw Material Commitments (RMCs) within The Strategic Implementation Plan (SIP) of the European Innovation Partnership on Raw Materials
Description:
A Polish R-Y-D organization participates in the Network on the Industrial Handling of Raw Materials for European Industries ( ERA-MIN) and the Environmental Technology Verification (ETV) with special emphasis on primary and secondary raw materials (its expert is nominated by the EC). Knowledge of the requirements and expectations of the industry and European trends will provide the basis for potential cooperation.
Polish organization is actively involved in interdepartmental activities related to rock mining, activities ranging from testing of raw materials, through technology and machinery, processing, development of technologies for construction materials based on primary and secondary raw materials.

Organization is urgently seeking potentials partners to form a consortium for Raw Material Commitments RMCs within The Strategic Implementation Plan (SIP) of the EIP on Raw Materials.
In order to be successful, the European Innovation Partnership (EIP) needs to involve a very large number of partners across the European Union and the entire raw materials value chain that will carry out actions contributing to the objectives of the EIP. Actions by EU institutions alone will not be sufficient, nor will funding from the EU budget alone. This is why the European Commission is launching an open call for commitments by actors in the private, public and non-governmental sectors including academia.
It is anticipated that the call will trigger a number of individual commitments (referred to as Raw Material Commitments - RMCs) where the partners jointly commit to co-operate and take actions that will contribute to achieving the objectives of the Strategic Implementation Plan (SIP), in the different action areas. The aim is to mobilize a substantial part of the European Raw Materials Community thus significantly increasing the positive impacts of the EIP.
Technical Specification or Expertise Sought:
A Polish organization is looking for partners to co-oparate and take actions in the following action areas of the Strategic Implementation Plan (SIP).

I. Technology Pillar

Action area n° I.1: Improving R-Y-D-Y-I coordination in the EU; as described above.

Action area: n° I.2: Exploration: Dissemination of mathematical model to determine the effect of extraction related pollution on commercial coal production costs.

Action area: n° I.3: Innovative extraction of raw materials: Experience in the design and implementation of technologies for usage of rock material associated with all mineral extraction activities as potential construction products being an essential element in the planning phase extraction.

Action area: n° I.4: Processing and refining of raw materials: Implementation of the technology for dry descaling of black coal, implementation of an extraction wastes granulation technology to produce products that could be used as a part of energy mixes and geoengineering materials for recultivation.

Action area I.5: Recycling of raw materials from products, buildings and infrastructure: Knowledge of the construction´s sector requirements for the construction materials and raw materials, Organization´s research capabilities and the development of new types of construction materials based on waste from different areas as a base for solutions across the entire value chain.

Action area: n° I.6: Materials for green energy technologies: Strengthening of actions toward the better usage of biomass in Central and Eastern Europe through the creation of an international network of consulting and information (within the framework of the implementation of the Coach BioEnergy Project)

Action area: n° I.9: Applications using materials in large quantities: Production technology for lightweight aggregates and aggregates substitutes from rock mining waste, manufacturing technology of ash-aggregate mixtures
