URGENT - MAGHRENOV call: French SME looks for a distributor for a solar potabilisation machine
Summary:
A French SME specialized in water reuse and treatment is looking for a new partner for its already approved and financed project (in the framework of Maghrenov call). The project´s objective is to develop and commercialize a solar potabilisation machine, based on a triple treatment. The partner will have to distribute the potabilisation machine in at least one of MENA (Middle East and North Africa) countries. If possible the partner will also have to manufacture the machine.
Description:
In the framework of the MAGHRENOV projects (FP7 program), KIC InnoEnergy (EU) and IRESEN (Morocco) organised in 2016 a joint call for Innovation projects targeting Euro-Moroccan consortia.
Co-financed by two partners of MAGHRENOV project, the objective of the MAGHRENOV call is to provide support to R2I (Research to Innovation) in the fields of renewable energy, biomass and energy efficiency.

The project aims at maximizing the efficiency of the solar radiation on the purification of water by combining three already proven and recognized effects: solar pasteurization, photolysis and photocatalysis, in order to disinfect 30 liters of water per square meter of solar panels in less than one half-day of sunning, while providing a refreshed water.
The goal is to develop and then commercialize a solar potabilisation machine, based on this triple treatment. It will be one of the first commercial uses of photocatalysis in the treatment of water. The concept will then be developed for "indoor" machines, villages, industries.

The project consortium is made of a French SME (project leader), a French research entity (leader in pasteurization), and a Moroccan research laboratory (leader in photocatalysis). Another partner was included at the start of the project to commercialize the solution. This partner cancelled its participation.
If a new partner is not quickly found the project will have to stop.
The consortium is looking for a partner that will be in charge of the commercialization part in several countries, including a country in Middle East and North Africa area.

Duration of the project = 2 years

EoI deadline = 30/03/2017
Application deadline =15/04/2017
Advantages and Innovations:
This patented technology innovation will bring a high tech value and an innovative product to the company that will choose to join the consortium. Joining the consortium is free of charge.

The project benefits from 1.5M -Y-euro; distributed in the consortium (The grant covers 80% of the costs).
60 k-Y-euro; is available for the distributing partner.

This technology does not affect mineral salts, so it is very good for health. It can not be used for brackish or salt water treatment.
Without any consumable or mains connection, it can lead to water of a unique purity, difficult to obtain by other processes.
