La empresa busca un socio con experiencia en monitorización y diagnóstico en la industria de aerogeneradores con tecnologías de big data e inteligencia artificial para presentar una propuesta a los programas Eureka o Eurostars 2. La idea es desarrollar una plataforma avanzada de gestión de flotas de granjas eólicas con monitorización de estado, diagnóstico y pronóstico en tiempo real para apoyar el mantenimiento de las granjas eólicas. Description:
A Korean SME is an expert in monitoring, diagnostic, optimizing and operation-Y-maintenance(O-Y-M) system in gas turbine and turbomachinery area. They are interested in cooperation to develop the monitoring, diagnostics, and prognostics of a wind farm with big data analysis using artificial intelligence(AI) technology through the Eurostars2 project.

The proposed idea is to develop an advanced fleet management of wind farm, includes the real-time condition monitoring, diagnostics and prognostics to support the maintenance system of wind power plant. The system is expected to improve the operational efficiency of a wind farm. However, wind farm diagnostics is a cumbersome task even with condition monitoring, all information and alarms must be analyzed by an expert to determine whether the instant values (vibration, efforts, current, etc.) are normal given the machine technology, its "health" status, and the environmental conditions. As the number of possible combinations that may lead to a failure is huge, it is not feasible to automate fault detection and diagnosis using conventional analysis method.

The objective of the development is to provide an optimal operating and maintenance service. The system will include an intelligent real-time monitoring system using AI and information and communications technologies(ICT) technology that can analyze big data and help develop a frequency-division duplex(FDD)/prognostics and health management(PHM) algorithm of structures. It monitors and checks conditions of a wind generator and related structures. It is also able to predict the breakdown of the generator which was made to prepare for emergencies. In addition, the remote management for the wind farm system using smart devices with 5G technology is required.

The company is seeking partners in Europe who work in the related area. The partners are expected to cooperate in developing the system. Since it is at the concept stage, they want to carry out a collaborative research project step by step.
