Una pyme coreana especializada en fabricar bolas de soldadura busca un socio interesado en participar en un proyecto Eurostars 2. El objetivo es desarrollar una tinta de nanocables de plata con alta dispersabilidad. Se buscan pymes, centros de I+D y universidades con experiencia en nanotecnología. El socio buscado participará en el desarrollo conjunto de los nanocables. La fecha límite de la convocatoria es el 15 de septiembre de 2016 y el plazo para presentar expresiones de interés finaliza el 15 de agosto. El proyecto tendrá una duración de tres años.

Description:
Background
A South Korean SME specialised in manufacturing of electronic material for organic light emitting diode (OLED) is looking for a partner to conduct Eurostars2 call together. The company mainly produces solder balls which are used for semiconductor packing process. They are looking for technological convergence in developing a silver nanowire ink that is bubble free and has high dispersibility.

Target
The objective of this project is to develop a high dispersible silver nanowire ink. A high dispersible silver nanowire ink would be used as a flexible substrate for flexible display. Silver has the highest electrical conductivity among all metals, and printing method is applicable, which allows curved production.

Role of the company
The partner will co-develop a high dispersible nanowire for high electrical conductivity and optical transmittance of flexible substrate. The uniform coating of silver nanowire is required to achieve the goal. The partner is also responsible for testing the performance of the developed materials.
