La empresa busca socios interesados en continuar con el desarrollo de esta nueva cámara y presentar una propuesta al programa Eurostars 2. Description:
A South Korean SME has expertise in various applications of computer vision and pattern recognition such as machine vision system, biometrics, and video analytics. The company has been conducting a number of R-Y-D projects funded by government or industry. They are specialized in real-time computer vision technology based on parallel processing techniques. They are currently developing a fire detecting camera. They already have a proven fire detection system and are interested in further development.

The camera is for improving the fire detection system. It is a real-time fire flame and smoke detection camera which is based on an image analysis technology. It can also be installed in a space with a high ceiling or a wide space that are hard to detect fire by smoke detectors or fire flower sensors. It has a self-learning technology using an artificial neural network that can learn the false alarming cases and decrease the malfunction. Also, the application of a time domain analysis technology increases the detection speed and the accuracy. It can activate a fire alarm and sends a text message or an e-mail when the fire is detected. The development will be applied in various fields such as warehouses, construction sites, hospitals, factories, or other places at high fire risk.

The company is able to produce a demonstration of the product, but they seek partners to conduct further development of the product. They wish to find partners in the field of camera, fire sensor, fire detector, IoT, and other related areas. They are seeking partners to cooperate in research and development of the fire detecting camera that can be used with low power requirements or IoT technology.
