Description:
A UK digital product development company has developed an early-stage artificially intelligent personal travel assistant, adding personal journey recommendations and travel time into a user´s personal calendar account. It is currently a B2C product. The company is seeking to develop an extension into a B2B product, a comprehensive Event Management Agent (EMA) with the purpose of supporting daily business travel of workers within an organisation. EMA seeks to connect with business calendars to provide real-time user context, travel resource availability, booking channels and worker safety and security considerations to deliver an improved business journey experience, worker safety and well being.
In particular, when developing the product for business, the company wishes to develop business features focused on personal security and business travel safety. This may include the development of features such as real-time security updates, routing to avoid ´higher risk´ journeys and city specific general travel advice. This will be particularly important for international business travel, where workers are navigating unfamiliar territories on behalf of their organisation.
The company meets the Eurostars eligibility requirements for R-Y-D performing SME and is aiming to submit the proposal by the September 2017 deadline. Failing that, it is flexible for the March 2018 round.
The company wants to identify suitable non-UK based partner organisations with expertise around personal security, risk and business travel who will advice on the functionalities and test the tool. The company would also be interested in non-UK partners with expertise in travel tourism or travel booking companies.
