Urgent H2020 EE06 : French SME looks for energy suppliers or distribution system operators(DSO)
Summary:
A French SME, specialized in behavior change solutions, is looking for energy suppliers or distribution system operators, to present a H2020 project, aiming at developing an efficient consumers´ coaching service for energy savings.
The French SME will coordinate the consortium.
Description:
To achieve the energy transition, it is key to involve consumers and transform them into active market players. In that sense, an improved understanding and use of ICT interfaces linked to consumers´ smart meter and a better reading of their energy bills can greatly raise awareness of consumers and motivate their action. An innovative digital solution allowing the adoption of energy saving behaviours was already tested by the SME at a large scale with very positive results (4.06Gwh saved in 9 months by 6.400 HH in 4 countries).

The present project proposes to improve this engagement methodology through collaboration with energy DSOs (distribution system operators) or suppliers in order to support consumers in gaining knowledge and understanding and to transform it into positive actions for energy savings.
As to ensure the sustainability of the engagement service, the project will also design the related cost recovery system, removing economic barriers from both customers´ and suppliers´ perspectives. The collaboration will include working on marketing and costing issues during a preliminary phase.

Objectives of the project:
i) Develop and deploy, in collaboration with energy providers (DSOs and/or suppliers), an efficient consumer´s coaching service in order to trigger large energy savings through consumers´ improved knowledge and move to action,
ii) and ensure the sustainability of the service through testing an innovative cost recovery system.

The SME is looking for Energy suppliers or distribution system operators to test a new global green service, providing a differential positioning and a strong competitive advantage, on a reduce number of customers.
