La empresa busca centros tecnológicos y compañías en los sectores de gestión del agua, nuevos materiales, infraestructuras de transporte y sistemas de monitorización/sensores, así como usuarios finales. La fecha límite de la convocatoria es el 7 de marzo de 2017 y el plazo para presentar expresiones de interés finaliza el 31 de octubre de 2016.

Summary:
A Spanish company specialised in the design and management of sewage treatment plants and drinkable water plants is writing a project proposal for H2020-CIRC-02-2016-2017 call. The aim of the project is to collect rain water through transport infrastructures for its treatment, storage and reuse. The company is looking for project partners among technology centres and companies in the fields of water management, new materials, transport infrastructure, monitoring and sensor systems and end users.
Description:
Currently transport infrastructures do not have integrated water reuse systems even though they have large areas for collection. In many cases the water is collected, distributed and sent directly to the local utility grid. In some other cases it is reused for irrigation of green areas, cleaning activities, firefighting or execution of civil works.

A Spanish company from the environment sector has large experience in the design, management and control of sewage treatment plants and drinkable water plants and has developed several R-Y-D projects in the field of water. They are interested in developing a new project with the aim to capture rainwater falling on major transport infrastructures for its subsequent treatment, storage and reuse in activities required in those infrastructures. For that purpose, the company needs partners (companies and technology centres) specialised in the management and maintenance of subway, port, airport and railway infrastructures; in monitoring and sensor systems; in environment, including water management, energy efficiency and environmental impact; and in the integration of new permeable and decontaminant materials. These partners should participate in the installation and testing of the final solution in a range of settings.

The project proposal will be submitted to Horizon 2020 under the CIRC-02-2016-2017 - Water in the context of circular economy call topic.
