El objetivo es reducir el tiempo de retorno energético del sistema fotovoltaico y aumentar el ciclo de vida de plantas fotovoltaicas. La empresa busca un coordinador y socios interesados en el proyecto, especialmente proveedores de electricidad, compañías de ingeniería, centros tecnológicos y organismos públicos. A Spanish SME is willing to participate within a LCE-10-2017 (Reducing the cost of PV electricity) project proposal. The aim of the project is to reduce energy payback time for the PV system and increasing the PV plant lifetime. A coordinator and partners are being sought for the project, mainly, electricity suppliers, engineering companies, technology centres and public bodies.
Description:
This proposal aims at reducing the cost of PV (photovoltaic) electricity by optimizing the PV system energy yield and lifetime, lowering the cost of the module (encapsulation materials, glass, and antireflective layers, anti-soiling layers, module architecture, etc.), the balance-of-system component (electronics, inverters, tracking systems, etc.) or the system configuration levels.

The Spanish SME specializing in renewable consulting services will develop a new tool to decrease the project costs/risks based on specific site conditions. In the proposal, they will provide demonstration of cost-effective solutions with increased energy yields at module/system level (under standard as well as actual operating conditions).

They actively support all project development stages based in solar and wind technology. Its project services include resource modelling and site identification, permitting advanced resource assessment, as well as procuring site specific typical meteorological year, technology assessment, preliminary plant layouts, transmission screening analysis, interconnection engineering, energy production forecasts, economic and financial analysis, scheduling and forecasting, and performance monitoring.
