Un centro de investigación checo busca socios y un coordinador con el fin de presentar una propuesta a la convocatoria SC1-PM-02-2017 "Nuevos conceptos en la estratificación del paciente" (RIA) del programa Horizonte 2020, con dos etapas. El objetivo es agrupar a pacientes con septicemia para el análisis detallado de la activación de las respuestas celulares innatas como marcador de desarrollo y gravedad de la septicemia en el futuro. Los socios buscados incluyen centros de I+D, universidades, hospitales, pequeñas y medianas empresas y grandes empresas. El plazo para presentar expresiones de interés finaliza el 31 de agosto de 2016. Las fechas límite de la convocatoria son el 4 de octubre de 2016 (1ª etapa) y el 11 de abril de 2017 (2ª etapa).

The project idea is to use cohort of well-defined sepsis patients for detail analysis of activation of innate cell responses as a marker of future sepsis development and severity.
Description:
Concept of the project:
The research teams intend to use cohort of well-defined sepsis patients for detail analysis of activation of innate cell responses as a marker of future sepsis development and severity. Further, it aims to analyse the peripheral blood monocytes and serum from subject endangered with sepsis development for functional properties, which will allow to predict the sepsis development (susceptibility) after the operation procedures. Main skills: innate signaling pathways analysis using receptor agonists and antagonists, advance flow cytometry and sorting, proteome analysis (MaldiTOF), analysis of transcription factors activation/translocation using reporter assays. Expertise of genetic engineering induced pluripotent stem cells derived myelopoiesis and preparation of induced pluripotent stem cells from patient (in clinical setting of GMP facility) can be involved.
