Una asociación francesa formada por 11 spas está preparando un proyecto Interreg en el campo temático de bienestar, termalismo médico y salud preventiva. El objetivo del proyecto es facilitar el intercambio de buenas prácticas entre autoridades regionales, universidades y socios para desarrollar métodos que apoyen la innovación y transferencia de conocimiento. Se buscan centros de I+D, universidades, organismos públicos, clústeres y autoridades con experiencia en salud preventiva y termalismo. La fecha límite de la convocatoria es el 30 de junio de 2017 y el plazo para presentar expresiones de interés finaliza el 18 de abril.

A French Association of 11 thermal spas from Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region is preparing an INTERREG Europe project.

The project activities respond to the specific challenges described in the INTERREG Europe program 1.2.: Improve the implementation of regional development policies and programs that support the delivery of innovation by players in regional innovation chains in areas of "smart specialisation" and innovation opportunity.

To reinforce this Thermal Strategy, the Association supported by Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region is developing a project with the direct involvement of public authority, academic institution, cluster organisation. The objective is the creation of an European Institute of Thermal Research in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes in order to investigate e-health solutions. Especially it targets the development of e-Health solutions for citizens and patients which promote their personal health management and disease prevention activities. The potential challenges in implementing e-Health solutions in the preventative health will be discussed, during INTERREG project, between partners with the question of management of Big Data, as a source of innovation in disease prevention.

The objective of the project is to support innovation policies learning among the partners with a view to improving the performance of regional innovation policies.
The aim of the project, connected to the Smart Specialisation Strategies, is to facilitate the exchange of good practice among regional authorities, universities and innovation partners to develop methods to support knowledge transfer and strengthen opportunities for open innovation between partners for innovation in the field of preventative health and thermalism.

Based on the sharing of experiences, the project will identify and transfer good territorial policies or instruments developed by Managing Authorities and dedicated to thermal innovation in the field of preventative health, with a strong focus on the involvement of public authorities, academic institutions and cluster organisations in the local decision making process. Relevant policies will then be transferred among the project partners.

Specific objectives:
- Capitalise practices among regional actors in order to strengthen regional policies,
- Facilitate cooperation and joint initiatives between enterprises, R-Y-D centres and higher education players in key regional areas of Smart Specialisation and Innovation opportunity,
- Find solutions for improved innovation strategies,
- Increase development, growth and improve the quality of life in the regions involved.

The project will last up to 5 years:
- Phase 1 (interregional exchange of best practices) will last three years: site visits, thematic seminars/ workshops, peer-reviews, staff exchanges, joint thematic surveys/ studies/ analysis, meetings with the stakeholder group
- Phase 2 (monitoring the implementation of the action plan) will last two years, as the impacts of the measures on the territories can usually be assessed within this time.

Partners sought: R-Y-D institutions, universities, public organizations, regional and local clusters, regional and local public authorities, regional and local governments, specialized in the field of preventive health and thermalism.

Eligible area: Interreg Europe cooperation area covers the whole territory of the European Union with its 28 Member States. In addition, Norway and Switzerland are full members of the programme and organisations from these countries are welcome to participate in projects. Partners from other countries can participate at their own costs.

Partners sought are specialized in the field of preventive health and thermalism in relation to their own national or regional authorities. Role: The partner will be actively involved in the project and will be part of the project development.
