Description:
Due to the growing demand on innovative and "green" propulsion systems to supply the transportation and space industries, the most innovative companies and organizations in the world are heavily investing in unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV), airborne taxis and delivery services like Uber and Amazon; in addition to well recognized organizations like NASA.

The start-up company, established in 2017 in the Midlands region of the UK, have devised a new solution that consists of an ion engine where gas is drawn in and a portion of it is ionised, and this ionised gas is accelerated out. This removes the need for a propellant. The engine can out produce the thrust of the closest rival for 2KWh of energy.

As the mathematical model has been proved and the prototype is in development (expected to be finalized by the end of May 2020), the company seeks collaborators with technical expertise in the field of clean energy engines, ideally ion-based propulsion systems, to work together in the development of a fully working prototype, testing and potentially production of the engine under research and technical collaboration agreements.

The company will also consider potential future commercial agreement and licensing opportunities of the solution with successful partners. The cooperation could have different formats and timing.

Aiming to supply a growing market of UAV using clean energy for different industries such as transportation, logistics and space technologies, the company is developing a technology that will surpass the current performance of propulsion systems allowing them to carry over 100kg of weight and reach distances over 50km of autonomy.
