Description:
A Korean university has developed the water pump with nitric acid ion removing catalyser for the water treatment apparatus. The university inserts complex metal catalyzer to the water pump in order to remove the nitric acid ion without seperate device.

Recently, the large issue is that the amount of the nitric acid ion pollutant of the sewage is continuously increasing. Many are researching on the effective removal of the pollutant in the sewage. When the nitric acid ion pollutant is flowed into the river or the lake, rapid eutrophication may rise and some diseases like cancer and cyanosis are triggered in the human body.

The existing methods of removing the nitric acid ion of the water include biological de-nitrification process, ion exchange technique, reverse osmosis and the electro-dialysis method. However, some of them require large space for the treatment while the others are costly and producing extra high concentration waste water. Thus, the need for the economic and effective way of removing nitric acid arises.

The university is is looking for innovative companies interested in the exploitation of the know-how and the commercialization of the product via licensing agreement or via commercial agreement with technical assistance.

-Able to insert the mesh type complex metal catalyzer to the water pump
-Easy to inject extra gases like hydrogen and air in order to increase the efficiency of the catalyzer
-Able to control the amount of the catalyzer according to the amount of the nitric acid ion
-Easy to change the catalyzer
-Of economic treatment cost
-Not producing any extra high concentration waste water
The technology may be applied to any fields which need to remove the nitric acid ion: removal of industrial sewage, water replacing of fish tank or water tank, and preventing the environmental pollution.
