Summary:
The SME from Kyiv (Ukraine) offers an air-heater for reducing the energy consumption in ventilation systems and increasing the coefficient of transformation heat pump (HP) of air-air or air-water type at temperatures below minus 5 °C using the heat of crystallization of water. Installed power of HP is reduced. The organization is looking for partners to implement this offer in the form of a commercial agreement with technical assistance or technical cooperation agreement.
Description:
The organization is creating (since 1993) the means and systems of automation, as well as developing integrated projects using renewable energy sources for the modernization of municipal energy power engineering, has a skilled staff and expertise to design and create effective heaters as elements of power systems.
In the northern countries of Europe, Asia and America, the amount of frosty days is from 70 to 200 per year. Such conditions in winter make it possible to heat the air before the evaporator of the heat pump (HP) to -3 - 0 º¿. This increases the coefficient of transformation (COP) by 25-35%. At the same time HP can work at temperatures -20 - -50º¿. The developed technology also provides up to 50% energy savings for ventilation in winter and is especially advantageous for rooms with a large ventilation rate. With simultaneous application of this technology for HP (before the evaporator) and for ventilation systems (in front of the air coolers) in frosts, up to 60% of energy can be saved. Due to the high heat of crystallization (334 kJ / kg), the water consumption is insignificant. The resulting ice can be accumulated for summer cooling (storage of products, air conditioning, cooling of data centre rooms).
The organization is looking for partners - SMEs working in the field of heat supply for industrial enterprises and utilities sectors to participate in the joint design and production of new air heaters. The preferred form of cooperation is a commercial agreement with technical assistance or technical cooperation agreement.
Advantages and Innovations:
This technology leads to:
- reduction of installed capacity and power consumption in HP and traditional preheaters of ventilation systems,
- allows HP operate in frosts without the use of expensive ground heat exchangers,
- decrease investment,
- decrease of CO2 emissions into the atmosphere. The technology is ecologically absolutely clean.
