Las diferentes variantes del composite son aptas para pistas, autopistas, depósitos de agua, etc. El composite tiene una importante estabilidad de volumen y baja porosidad, por lo que es muy resistente a procesos de degradación química. La universidad ofrece la licencia a fabricantes de morteros secos y mezclas de concreto.

Summary:
Czech university has developed a dry, prefabricated cementitious composite with a rapid strength development, especially suited for reconstructions requiring fast repairs. Various variants of the composite can be suitable for runways, highways, water reservoirs, etc. It has a reasonable volume stability and very low porosity, so it is highly resistant to chemically-based degradation processes. The university offers a licence to manufacturers of dry prefabricated mortar and/or concrete mixtures.
Description:
On the market, there are several manufacturers of materials used for fast reconstructions and repairs. The product on offer represents a good compromise between an easy mixture manipulation, controlled hydration process and a speed of solidification, characteristics that are key for determining the attractiveness of a mixture for proposed application.

Composite on offer is a dry, prefabricated cement mixture that is highly resistant to impact and enables substantial time saving during concrete-based constructions repairs.

The composite
The multifunctional composite includes a binding agent with active hydraulic cement, based on cement clinker. Further, the material also includes a regulation system consisting of a mixture of plasticizers (conventionally used and usual regulation agents for solidification and hardening of silicate composites). Composite´s ingredients are commonly available.

The technology is suitable especially for surfaces such as runways, roads with cement-concrete covers, bridges - anywhere where there is of high importance to minimize traffic closure.

The mixture is characterized by good volume stability (aqueous contraction is approximately in tenth per mile) and also by very low porosity. These characteristics make the material predestined to be highly durable in any possible conditions including chemically-based degradation processes and freeze/thaw cycles.

The material has a very good adhesion to the existing surface (more than 1,5MPa) and the setting time is very short, so the treated place can be loaded already after 6 hours after repair.

Solidity
- it is possible to reach compressive strength 40-60 MPa in one day and 100-110 MPa within 28 days
- it is possible to reach flexural strength 4-11 MPa in one day and 15-20 MPa within 28 days

Flexibility
The composite on offer can be modified according to specific customer needs. It is for example possible to change the proportion of binder and filler in a ratio higher than 1:2 or to add steel fibres which can significantly influence the speed of initial strength increase or limit the creation of shrink cracks.

Currently available variants of the mixture are suitable for smaller repairs and small constructions (e.g. balusters embedment, repairs of balconies, walls, floors,...) and as a binding substance.

The composite on offer has been tested and the university offers licence to manufacturers of dry prefabricated mortar and/or concrete mixtures.
