Un laboratorio coreano especializado en tecnologías de medición y diagnóstico de plantas ha desarrollado tecnologías de distribución de energía y tecnologías inteligentes conectadas a la red e investiga para prevenir desastres y accidentes de seguridad. Una de sus tecnologías se utiliza para diagnosticar y medir errores de MOF (Metering Out Fit). La tecnología comprueba la corriente y tensión por cada fase y calcula el consumo energético antes de la corrección. El laboratorio también ofrece tecnologías de seguridad de la información de sistemas de automatización de energía. Se buscan socios con el fin de establecer acuerdos de comercialización con asistencia técnica y fabricación.

They have developed power distribution technologies, smart grid-related technologies, and research to prevent disasters and safety accident. This laboratory also provides information security of power automation system. The laboratory is looking for commercial agreement with technical assistance or manufacturing agreement.
Description:
A laboratory of electric power of South Korea has developed a technology to diagnose and measure the error of MOF(metering outfit). Customers who use high-voltage and the large current cannot utilize direct measurement of electricity. So, conventional technologies use MOF. MOF needs additional equipment, like PT(potential transformer) and CT(current transformer). This equipment is easy to make the error and just check the amount of current, not phase. This cannot measure the active power and reactive power, and it makes error between electricity company and clients.
This technology checks secondary voltage and current. It measures the current and voltage per each phase, so it can calculate the power consumption before correction. Also, it can diagnose the error state of internal CT and PT and announce fault condition.
The research institute is open to various types of collaboration. The technology is ready to be adapted to industry and commercialization. The team is looking for potential partners for commercial agreement with technical assistance and manufacturing agreement.
Advantages and Innovations:
Comparing with the conventional metering method, this technology measures current power and current phase simultaneously. And it compares measurement errors between before and after correction.
Through these changes, it measures active power and reactive power exactly. So, it can detect measurement errors and diagnose metering out fit(MOF)´s error. Also, it is able to notify fault condition of internal CT(current transformer) and PT(potential transformer)
