Converter for registration of signals from percussion instruments
Summary:
SME from east Poland active in the field of instruments developed converter for recording signals from the percussion instruments membrane such as drums and timpani. The transmitter can be used in the construction of diaphragm stethoscopes and other instruments that requires the accurate processing of vibrations of the membrane to an electrical signal.
The company is looking for technical cooperation agreement, license agreement or commercial agreement with technical assistance
Description:
The company from east Poland has a vast background with appliances for measuring, testing and navigation, now focusing on the field of instruments developed a converter for recording signals from the membrane of the percussion instruments such as drums and timpani. The transducer for recording signals from percussion instruments, consists of a magnet attached permanently to the moving diaphragm or stationary percussion instrument body, and the magnetic field of a permanent magnet is placed in the sensitive field of magnetic element .
The magnet preferably is cylindrical or cuboid. The transducer for recording signals from percussion instruments, provides a linear conversion membrane vibration signal into an electrical signal in the frequency range from zero to 1 MHz. The recording sounds of percussion instruments is significantly above the band sound, but it can make a big difference when using the transmitter as another device for recording the vibration of high or very low frequencies. The use of the transmitter of various shapes of permanent magnets creates the opportunity to shape the dynamics of signals from percussion instruments. The transmitter can be used in the construction of diaphragm stethoscopes and other instruments that require the accurate processing of vibrations of the membrane to an electrical signal.

The company is interested in cooperation with companies, recording studios, bands that will use/ install the converter directly into the instruments under a technical cooperation agreement, license agreement or commercial agreement with technical assistance in order to implement the converter on the market or musical sector.
Advantages and Innovations:
Advantage of the transmitter in relation to the known practices is that the transmitter only minimally records the redundant sounds from the environment, including those from other instruments. It does not show a tendency to excitations of the loudspeaker. Direct tracking phase of the output signal from the drums gives excellent conditions for listening to the same drummer. If you use an element sensitive to a magnetic field as the magneto-resistive sensor an advantageous signal / noise ratio will be > 60 dB.
