The company has decided to design an electronically controlled portable olive harvest machine due to the needs and requirements observed in the olive harvesting field. This product is a shaking machine provoked with direct electrical energy from the energy source and it is commanded manually.

The machine is used by one person and the power unit is carried by the user during the harvest. The shaker is held with both hands and the harvest is done by throttling the machine in the tree crown while shaking the fruit branches. The project has been developed up to the field test stage that concluded successfully.

The mechanism of the machine which secures the fall of the fruit, provides a movement formation realizing a surface scanning with 20 Hz (1200 d/d) shaking frequency and ±10º oscillation. With the aid of the specific shaking mechanism providing this movement, this machine which possesses 85% harvest efficiency and 9% sprout leaf percentage in comparison to its competitors, is:

Capable of increasing the crop capacity by reaching all the tree branches even with dense crown formations due to its capability of regulating the shaking speed electronically in compliance with the difficult conditions.

In possession of a limited energy source, full power is being used only if needed, as a consequence no energy is wasted during the transition between the branches

Equipped with portable baterry modules, the user carries the module that refers to the certain time of usage, so the weight is decreased to minimum while the efficiency is increased
