The current COVID-19 pandemic situation has driven the Worldwide Governments to demand high levels of control of the population for access to buildings and moving around..

This need, present in any type of business, but specially in activities needing control for access and movements of many people, is very important to keep safe citizens and employees and avoid spreading and contagion risk of COVID-19.

At this point, a Southern Spanish SME, active in the area of electronics, has developed a thermographic system for body temperature measurement.

This novel plug -Y- play solution that is based on high-precision thermal imaging cameras (+/- 0.3ºC) is designed to quickly and accurately measure people´s body temperature without contact. The system alerts about people who exceed the established maximum body temperature, detecting possible cases of fever, one of the most obvious symptoms of Covid-19 infection, as well as similar contagious diseases.

The system has been entirely designed, manufactured and calibrated in Spain and is fully compliant with IEC 80601-2-59 standard.

This technology offers two different functional options for fast recording of data obtained of body temperature measurement and identification of people:

a) High resolution thermal camera (384x288 px) with high precision (+/-0.5ºC) and Full HD visible camera. It includes software to install in a PC and calibration certificate.

b) High resolution thermal camera (384x288 px) with high precision (+/-0.3ºC) and Full HD visible camera. It includes back body calibration source for higher accuracy, software to install in a PC and calibration certificate.

Its fast data capture, high precision and resolution, make it ideal to be installed at the entrance of any building or facility.

The included software provides a very intuitive interface for the control and configuration of temperature, alarms and recording functions, as well as for the analysis of the measured data. Its digital output module allows easy integration with other systems.

The Spanish SME is interested in two types of agreements depending on the partner.

Commercial agreements with technical assistance are sought with company that might be final users of the technology (hospitals, offices, industrial facilities, logistics centers, airports, seaports, shopping centers, hotels, banks, schools, etc.)

Technical cooperation is sought with security services providers. This cooperation would be in terms of dissemination of the technology in their area, deployment to potential interested companies and support for a correct use. They would also contribute to upgrade of the technology.
