Una universidad checa con más de 20 años de experiencia en síntesis, caracterización y observación de las propiedades biológicas de derivados de purina glicosilados, así como en investigación básica y aplicada de hormonas vegetales, ha desarrollado nuevos derivados de purina aromáticos disustituídos con interesantes propiedades para técnicas in vitro de multiplicación de plantas. El nuevo compuesto ofrece mejores características que los actuales, es más asequible y no tiene efectos adversos. Estos derivados para micropropagación de segunda generación son antisenescentes, no tóxicos y beneficiosos para las células de las plantas. Se buscan socios con el fin de establecer acuerdos de cooperación en materia de investigación, licencia o joint venture.

Summary:
A Czech university has developed new structure di-substituted aromatic purine derivatives with interesting properties for in-vitro techniques of plant multiplication. The new compound provides better characteristics than existing ones; they are cheaper and without any unfavourable effects. Partners for research cooperation agreement, licence agreement or a joint venture agreement are sought.
Description:
The new glycosyl derivatives for micropropagation of second generation are anti-senescent, non-toxic and beneficial for plant cells. Aromatic 6-purine derivatives substituted also in N9 position with special new substituents prevent also typical dwarfing of roots. The solution offered is based on relation between structure and biological activity of these compounds and to look for the molecular targets of these compounds and modify them according the results (gene expression).

The researchers from the Czech university have more than 20 years´ experience in synthesis, characterization and observing of biological properties of glycosylated purine derivatives as well as in fundamental and applied research of different plant hormones.
