Un grupo de investigación de una universidad española ha desarrollado una nueva tecnología para aumentar la eficiencia energética en el proceso de conversión de energía térmica de dispositivos termoeléctricos fan coil en electricidad utilizando el efecto Seebeck. La nueva tecnología puede aplicarse en diferentes dispositivos de la industria de calefacción y refrigeración: sistemas de aire acondicionado, bombas de calor, disipadores de calor, etc. La universidad busca pymes en este campo con el fin de establecer acuerdos de licencia, cooperación técnica o investigación.

A research group from a Spanish university has developed a new technology to improve the energy efficiency in the process of conversion of thermal energy from fan coil thermoelectric devices in electrical energy using the Seebeck effect. The new technology can be applied in different devices from the heating and cooling industry. The university is looking for SMEs related to this field interested in a license agreement, a technical cooperation or a research cooperation agreement.
Description:
The new technology consists of an autonomous fan coil device, that works thanks to Seebeck effect, which transforms the thermal energy from the fluid into electrical energy, and uses it to power the fan coil device.

This technology can be applied in a wide range of heating and cooling devices such as air conditioning devices, heat pumps and heat dissipation devices among others.

The technology could also be incorporated in certain systems in order to reuse the heat, such as exhaust pipes, vehicle radiators or it also can be used as an alternative to conventional fan heaters.

The research group form the Spanish university is looking for companies manufacturers or suppliers of devices from the heating and cooling sector interested in a license agreement, a technical cooperation or research cooperation agreement.
