El análisis de los datos del vuelo puede aplicarse para mejorar la calidad y programa de capacitación. Aircraft manufacturers want to reduce costs and development cycles in order to have market competitiveness. To achieve this challenge, the manufacturer has to be able to deliver the product in a short period. However, the flight test of the certification procedures takes long time and cost. Aircraft manufacturers research in the development of state-of-art computational tools and process to reduce the amount of physical testing, certification costs and product development cycles.

Recently, structural analysis has implemented many types of Finite Element Analysis (FEA) software for virtual certification and many matured high fidelity analysis tools for other disciplines are studied. Virtual testing and certification are already a part of the structure analysis field and significant achievements are performed. Moreover, hardware and software performance are continuously improving.

This Korean university is looking for a European partner to develop a reliable flight simulator for the virtual certification and data analysis framework for Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) systems. Partnership can be a licensing agreement or a technical cooperation for joint further development. The developed technology can be implemented for the training of pilot and pilot certification. The university has many research experiences on the aircraft system design optimization, system analysis, framework and database construction, and simulation of various types of aircraft.

The developed framework can be applied to evaluation of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs). This research facility has various hardware for the simulator with this software. The research partner already constructed a fixed based simulator. It has been designed and built to teach and initiate research projects in the area of aircraft design, flight simulation, pilot training, and flight data analysis.

The objective is the development of the reliable flight simulator for virtual certification and it needs advanced information technology, aerodynamic analysis technology, computer science, database management, and aircraft certification knowledge to secure a sufficient accuracy. For this reason, the development of the virtual flight test technique can promote these techniques.

The descried procedure can be accomplished on one system while satisfying certification requirements. The virtual flight test and analysis system will help to reduce the cost and time for training and analysis, and can improve quality of the training even though the users only had limited space, time, and experience.

- The high fidelity virtual flight test provides unlimited training environment for pilots unlike the actual flight training

- The flight data analysis can be applied to enhance the training quality and program. Canadian air force is extending the application of flight simulator for pilot training
