Description:
The Belgian company is specialised in the production of natural based luminescent pigments and crystals such as epoxy and polyurethane resins that can be applied on surfaces, wall and roofs. The agents can be used for decoration and lightning of gardens, large surfaces and corridors.
The company has a licence already tested in the market and already developed in several countries, especially in those geographic areas where electrification is missing.
In fact, this technology has a great decorative potential but can also represent a valid substitute to electrical lighting, provide lighting in problematic conditions where electrification is not possible or too expensive. Being applicable in situations where conditions are problematic, the technology might also have a social impact as its production can foster the creation of new jobs both in urban and non-urban contexts.

The natural and fluorescent agents can also come handy also in more common problems such as electricity shortage.

The technology is also a valid economic process as the realisation of the agents entails a small effort (2 people per day to produce 200 to 300 kg crystals and florescent agents) and a reduced physical space (a surface of 20 to 25 sqm is sufficient) and does not demand any electricity.

Collaborations have already been established with several international partners providing technical assistance and a preliminary product development study specific for the production place.

The company is looking for small enterprises operating in the decoration field or building constructors, architects and designers, or research centres willing to develop a licenced production on site or commercial cooperation with technical assistance. .
Advantages and Innovations:
The advantage of the fluorescent agents is that the most part of the processing is realised with products found on site: sea salt, 4 natural additives and water (it is possible to use rain or water from lakes, ponds, seas, etc.). Only two products need to be imported: the aluminizing agent and the light booster. Neither electricity nor drain are necessary. There is no production excess raw material as this is re-used for the subsequent production.
