Description:
The startup, established in France, is specialized in polymer-based tissue engineering projects and implantable medical devices, and also expert in design and production of medical grade 3D printing filaments. Using medical polymers compatible with 3D printing, the company enables the realization of innovative medical devices.

The company offers its services to :
- support its client in the developpement of medical projects, by accompanying the realization of designs and products, from the conception stage, through prototyping to pre-series thanks to 3D printing
- manufacture implantable and / or resorbable medical device using the client own materials or medical grade 3D filaments developped by the startup.

Thanks to an extensive know-how of 3D printing technology applied to medical devices, the company analyses the parts of a device to optimize the layout (orientation of the part on the board (x, y, z), use of a carrier material support, etc). Then the settings of the 3D printing software are adapted to perfect the design : printing temperature, printing speed, tray temperature, ventilation intensity, filament shrinkage, etc.

The company has a 3D printing farm composed of 28 printers, a clean room for production and a laboratory.

The company seeks partners from medical devices sectors under manufacturing, research or technical cooperation agreement :
- The company offers its expertise and innovative manufacturing capacities to medical devices companies and health professionnals under manufacturing agreement.
- Thanks to its extensive know-how regarding implantable medical devices and 3D printing for medical applications, the startups is willing to collaborate under research cooperation agreement to further develop innovative medical (implatable / resorbable) projects, as well as under technical cooperation agreement for participating in technological developpement of new products, e.g. by prototyping or testing new medical devices.

The company is also open to join european consortium for EU calls under R-Y-D partnership. The company has previous experience under FTI and Interreg programmes.
Advantages and Innovations:
The startup supports companies and laboratories in their research and development activities by integrating new materials and additive manufacturing processes in the development of their medical devices.
Furthermore, it gives its clients the possibility to develop its own material and add new functionalities.

The company owns 28 printers using Fused Filament Deposition (FFM) of Pellet Additive Manufacturing (PAM) technologies.

The company designs its own medical grade polymers compatible with 3D printing (100% bioabsorbable and implatable).

The printers are located in a clean room ISO 7 allowing the production of devices in a controlled environnement. In 2021, the production will be certified ISO 13485:2016.
Printers use nozzles from 0.2mm to 0.4mm diameter, for layer heights from 0.1 to 0.2mm thick.

The company has a laboratory to ensure the validation of the clients´ specifications thanks to multiple analysis tools (chromatography, calorimetry, mechanical test benches, cell biology).
