Details

Tittle:
Hardware design and software SDK (Software Development Kit) to easily create IoT (Internet of Things) devices with focus on Security, Interoperability and Device Management.
Summary:
A French company, created by 3 experts from Intel, specialized in IoT security, interoperability and device management technologies, provides very innovative software and electronic products based on an IoT Standard: OMA (Open Mobile Alliance) LwM2M (Lightweight Machine to Machine). This standard is already adopted by world wide operators and big IoT players (ARM, Intel,...). The SME is interested in a license or service or technical cooperation agreement.
Description:
A French company privately held, created by 3 experts from Intel with 20 years of embedded system experience provides the technology that will bring a common language to the next 40 Billion IoT devices that will arise by 2020.

Thanks to their technologies, their industrial customers can build a new generation of IoT devices more intelligent, interoperable, secured and remotely manageable, with remote firmware update and device management capabilities based on Standards.
They provide 2 main products:

· a commercial OMA LwM2M stack, reference implementation of the OMA and IPSO standards, enabling a wide range of services for IoT solutions to be deployed quickly in a secure fashion. The stack helps their industrial customers to build a new generation of IoT devices more intelligent, interoperable, secured and remotely manageable. With the following features:
- Built-in security (authentication and cryptography) for the data exchange and deployments of Connected Objects.
- Outstanding client and server features for managing and updating deployed devices remotely (firmware update, pushing parameters and provisioning information, change behaviours and policies remotely).
- Interoperability features including built-in IPSO that provide a common language, thus a real device-to-device interoperability for management methods, data models, transport and exchanges.

· a smart electronic design for the industry: very light and powerful hardware powered by a RTOS (Real Time Operating System) and pre-integrated software stack. It can last over 10 years on battery and enables device management, remote firmware update based on LwM2M and IPSO Standards.
This product is designed for industrial customers to release secure, interoperable and remotely manageable connected objects fast and easy, fully compliant with OMA LwM2M and IPSO Standards.

The customer can operate on only two stages :
- Choosing the radio technology,
- Plugging any sensor
and then the Connected Object is already loaded with security, standardized DM and Firmware Update features.

The partners sought could be industrial devices makers working in IoT : IoT device manufacturer, IoT infrastructure provider (gateways, networks infrastructures), network operator, in order to develop technical cooperation agreement and services agreement.

IoT System Integrators are also sought for license and services agreement.
Advantages and Innovations:
The company sits at the Open Mobile Alliance (OMA) and is one of the very active contributors to the LwM2M specification evolutions. They´re recognized as a leading company in the LwM2M standardization efforts and their stack is considered as a reference LwM2M implementation.
Software SDK and Smart Electronic Design are the 2 main products used by industrial IoT makers to enable:

- Built-in security for the data exchange and deployments of connected objects.

- Outstanding client and server features for managing and updating deployed devices remotely.

- Interoperability features including built-in IPSO (Internet Protocol for Smart Objects).
