Description:
A Korean institute has developed the apparatus for pH neutralization of phosphoric acid using the tourmaline. A research team on the organisation has been focusing on developing pH neutralisation and the mechanism on phosphoric acid.

The water treatment system eliminates the contaminants of the waste water and purifies the water. The existing waste water treatment method generally treats the ammoniac nitrogen using nitrification process and phosphorate-phosphorus using the chemical coagulation, which are very complicated processes with low efficiency.

On the other hand, the struvite crystallization process effectively treats nitrogen and phosphorate-phosphorus at one time. However, most waste water lacks phosphorate-phosphorus compared to the ammoniac nitrogen thus needs to add extra phosphorate-phosphorus. Then the acidity of the wastewater goes down to the pH 2-3 and massive alkaline medicines must be added. The institution developed the neutralization of the waste water using the tourmaline which will reduce the addition of the massive alkaline aid. The pH neutralization apparatus of the company may be used in the water treatment systems.

The institution is looking for partners with commercial agreement with technical assistance, license agreement, and research cooperation agreement.
