Un inventor croata ha desarrollado un dispositivo para destruir microorganismos y bacterias con radiación ultravioleta C (UVC) en emulsiones, agua y aire. La principal aplicación de este dispositivo está destinada a industrias que utilizan emulsiones (mezclas de agua y aceite) para refrigerar y engrasar maquinaria. El tratamiento destruye microorganismos y bacterias y aumenta la vida útil de la emulsión, ofreciendo unas condiciones más saludables a los trabajadores que están en contacto con ella. El inventor busca socios para comercializar el producto mediante acuerdos de licencia o comercialización con asistencia técnica.

Description:
Croatian inventor offers a device for disinfection of emulsions, water and air using ultraviolet C (UVC) light. The technology of disinfection using UVC light is already known but the inventor has developed new approach that is more efficient and simultaneously disinfects air and water or emulsion.
The primary application of this device is in industries that use emulsions (mixtures of water and oil) for cooling and greasing the machinery. The treatment of emulsion destroys microorganisms and bacteria and thus enables longer lifespan of the emulsion and healthier work conditions for workers in contact with the emulsion.
The device is divided in three segments. First segment contains different filters for air purification and electronic components. Second segment contains three UVC lamps and is divided in two parts for air disinfection and for water or emulsion disinfection. Third segment is for exit of purified air.
The inventor wants to commercialise the product through licensing agreement or commercial agreement with technical assistance.
Advantages and Innovations:
The device simultaneously disinfects air and emulsion or water using ultraviolet C (UVC) light and the result is a healthier working condition and longer lifespan of the emulsion and thus money savings because emulsion acquisition and disposal is less often.

The device is made in a way that no UVC light can leak out of the device so no protective work-wear is needed.
