The company is looking for end users for partnerships and technical cooperation in the frame of commercial agreements with technical assistance.

Description:
The company is an innovative, high tech company founded in The Netherlands in February 2006 by four MSc's graduated from Aerospace Engineering from Delft University of Technology. It has specialized in building robot helicopters: small unmanned helicopters, that can be used as stable, easy to control sensor-platforms. This is accomplished by combining computer and sensor technology in a smart way. The company sells these systems, but also uses their own systems to perform flights for customers (services).

Some examples of products that were initiated by this company:

A robot helicopter system that consists of a helicopter with camera or other sensor(s) and a groundstation from which the operator controls and monitors the helicopter. The helicopter is equipped with sensors and a computer system that provide stabilization and control. The helicopter is easy to control through velocity commands, suitable for one-person operation, total mass 15 kg and endurance more than one hour with a useful payload of approximately 2.5 kg. These robot helicopter systems have been delivered to the national police force and the national ministry of defence.

Another recently launched product is a multicopter with a total mass of 2 kg and an endurance about 15 minutes with a useful payload of approximately 300 g.

At this moment the preliminary design phase has started to develop a robot helicopter, which will have an endurance of approximately 3 hours, with a total mass less than 15 kg and with a useful payload around 2 - 3 kg.

This company also participates in various research projects:

A project to achieve safer deployment of unmanned robots
The Dutch Police, Fire Brigades and Defence would like to deploy umanned aircraft and helicopters more often, but are limited by regulations. Together with partners like research institutes, universities and federations, the company has investigated how other air traffic can be avoided and has been looking for ways to improve the situational awareness of the remote operator.

In another project, the company has developed a universal simulation platform for unmanned systems which links ground stations of unmanned systems to serious games. The system will allow operators of unmanned systems to participate in virtual training sessions. The project was carried out together two Dutch companies which develop serious games for safety organisations.

The last project to be mentioned was selected by the Dutch Ministry of Defence in the SBIR tender "Safe ground based actions and military operations in urban areas". The company expects to make a strong contribution to safer future operations for the defence staff with the development of a rapidly deployable autonomous multicopter system. This inexpensive, lightweight, compact, easy and safe deployable system can be used to obtain overview and can be equipped with different, removable sensor packages. Because the multicopter will automatically take-off & land from a transport box, it will reduce the workload of the operator.

The high standards of the 'base drones', in combination with the various possibilities to develop for specific and often extreme demands. It is really the engineering power of this company that makes the difference.
