Description:
Ukrainian company with 17 years of experience in the field of collection and processing of solid waste has developed solution for recycling complicated residual products that remains after sorting. The company has developed and patented an integrated solid waste system. The technology includes a comprehensive approach to waste recycling to produce renewable energy.
The industrial solid waste is one of the most urgent environmental issues of our time. Ukrainian company proposes manufacturing the energy system for recycling municipal industrial solid waste in an environmentally-responsible manner. The waste treatment includes such usual operations as collection, sorting, pre-treatment, recycling and disposal. Gas-powered plant, the crucial elements of energy system, is designed to give gas mixtures. The obtained gas mixture after purification from furans and resin can be transformed into thermal and electrical energy. The municipal waste and biomass could be used as feedstock.
Municipal waste: industrial solid waste after sorting, wastes generated during the footwear manufacturing, polyesther, rubber, sludge, polymer (except polyvinylchloride).
Biomass: food processing wastes, wood processing residues, forestry residues, poultry farming wastes, animal waste, agricultural waste, peat, sewage sludge, leaves, straw.
In order to carry out further development the company seeks international partners who are willing to give their support under financial agreements.
Advantages and Innovations:
The high temperature (1200 C) gasification technology for solid waste processing is not new, but after the modifications made by the Ukrainian company the coefficient of efficiency was increased, as a result the additional heat energy without burning synthesis gas was obtained. This technology provides:
- waste-free and ecological technology;
-efficient production of thermal and electrical energy;
- high efficiency of solid domestic waste processing.
The obvious advantages of using temperature gasification (gas generation) is practically no processing waste and stack gas emissions do not exceed the norms approved by European directives.
