Description:
The proposed thruster technologies, both electrical, chemical and colg gas, count on more than 10 years of development and it is an outcome from the R-Y-D collaborations between the Italian company and several research organisations. In particular the electric propulsion system the company is offering is the first and only commercially viable propulsion system based on solid unpressurized propellant Iodine which combines high propulsive performances with compact design and plug -Y- play integration, leading to drastically increased satellite versatility at a low cost.
The thruster gives mobility to micro and nanosatellites from 6U to 150kg to cover different mission manoeuvres as orbit raising and drag compensation, formation flying and decommissioning.
Industries designing and manufacturing micro and nanosatellite platforms from 6U to 150kg are now sought for commercial agreement with technical assistance in order to adopt such new and innovative propulsion solution.

The company has a 360 degrees compentence and expertise on propulsion systems development, thus offering off-the shelf products as well as customised solutions with a high level of assistance during system definition and all development stages up to flight model integration. More into the details, the complete and innovative 1.5U-2U electric propulsion system has ones of the best thrust to power ratio and specific impulse to power ratio, as well as the best k-Y-euro;/thrust and k-Y-euro;/total impulse ratios, making it the most convenient electric propulsion system in the market in terms of cost and performance. Thanks to its architecture, with no exposed electrodes and neutralizer the system is capable of long life time also in case of oxygen rich environment (low orbit). The motor itself is very versatile in term of mission profile, putting no limitation on restart capabilities, and allowing throttling if necessary.
