Description:
In the current fresh food supply chain, fresh produce tends to deteriorate quickly: low humidity causes it to lose a lot of moisture. A dry mist technology developed by a Dutch company will help you counteract this effect. As the dry mist evaporates, the humidity rises and the temperature drops naturally. The solution works simply with regular tap water. A specialized filter has been developed so that produce remains fresh anywhere in the world. Bacteria, viruses, minerals and salts are filtered out of the water for optimal hygiene and also the durability of the equipment. Because the products will retain their freshness, colour and nutrients for a significantly longer time a significant reduction in food waste can be made.

The humidifiers can be applied at every stage of the supply chain, from postharvest through to storage, and transport to the supermarket shelf. The technology can be applied to any fruit and vegetable aisle, whether refrigerated or unrefrigerated. The system can be quickly and easily integrated into any existing displays. The amount of mist and how it is divided can be easily regulated.

The company is looking for commercial agreements with technical assistance.
