Description:
The company, located in Izmir/Turkey has been founded by a mechanical engineer. The company is based on R-Y-D of innovative energy generation from wave. The company aims to convert ocean and sea wave energy into electricity in an efficient / profitable way. Patent initial search was completed and PCT (Patent Cooperation Treaty) was applied for this product.

The product provides flexible surface on the sea, with the ability to move in harmony with sea surface motion. This flexible surface located on the sea surface is used as an interface for contacting and catching the waves that are formed on the sea surface. All the motion created by the waves on this flexible surface is transferred again from the flexible surface to a mechanical system by means of multiple drive system (multi-point absorber or surface absorber) connections and converted into energy. This makes it possible to transfer a significant portion of the energy of the wave, navigated under the flexible surface, to the mechanical system.

The mechanical design of the system was tested under natural conditions (marine conditions) in 2017. The system designed to generate electricity with the current installed capacity of 25 KW has been launched and located in the marine environment and is ready to proceed to the testing and trial generation phase.

After the tests a decision will be made for further development of the product therefore the company is looking for a partner which can help in testing, necessary certification and qualification process in order to sell this product or the advanced R-Y-D if necessary. The potential partner can provide consultancy, partnership or distribution of the products.

Commercial agreement with technical assistance and technical cooperation agreement is considerable.
Advantages and Innovations:
The system involves an approach to position a flexible surface on the sea surface, and transfer all motions on the surface through connections from as many points as possible; this approach constitutes the innovative aspect of conversion system.
· High efficiency provided by energy transfer through contact with almost 100% of sea waves
· Operation of flexible surface, the main component of the system, is in harmony with wave motions and with no destructive resistance surface created, thus making the system resistant to undesirable sea conditions.
· The flexible surface sizes in the system are controllable, therefore, user able to extend the wave energy over a controllable time interval by means of a controlled resistance surface that created via the flexible surface, ensuring a controlled conversion and increasing efficiency.
· Thanks to its design and the simplicity of its components, the system provides basic systematic operation and low cost of maintenance.
· The modular structure of the system makes it quite easy to transport and install the system in implementation areas.
· System is adaptable to onshore - nearshore and offshore marine applications.
· The cost of installation of the system per kW is considerably lower when compared to its competitors. The total cost of installation, which is the sum of the costs of elements forming the conversion system, is quite low. ( The cost of installation for a 1 MW system is around US$ 1 - 1.1 mln. )
· Considering the low costs of installation and the initial efficiency values obtained on the site, it can be said that the system has fulfilled the commercial criteria that provides competitiveness against wind turbines and solar panels.
