Description:
The company is focused on marine activity and seaweed harvesting and through its experience, it has devised a sacrificial anode efficacy test for safety at sea. The product is a novel design for a sacrificial marine anode with a test circuit and method for determining the efficacy of a sacrificial anode on a boat with an inboard engine.
Presently, there is no way of monitoring the sacrificial anode status and awareness that the sacrificial anode is working or not. However with the simple pressing of a button, an indicator bulb will light up and indicate that the sacrificial anode is working. When the sacrificial anode has been expended (i.e. when zinc has been used up) or when there is a fault with the sacrificial anode wiring circuit, the light will not light up. This is a safety feature and marine insurance companies and code of practice enforcers for boats could be interested in the invention so that the boat´s captain can monitor the efficacy of the sacrificial anode.
In particular, there are four operational features in this marine device and these are:
1) A mobile phone text alert is activated when the anode wiring circuit bonding/continuity has been broken.
2) The three lights grounded from anode terminal 1, anode terminal 2 and steering assembly terminal 1, when illuminated, indicate that the anode wiring circuit bonding/continuity is functional. When a light or the lights are not illuminated indicates that the anode wiring circuit bonding/continuity has been broken. If one or two lights are not illuminated it isolates the fault.

3) A sacrificial anode novel revelator design that breaks continuity when anode protective mass has been expended. When this happens the lights are not illuminated and the mobile phone text alert is activated.

4) It has an off-shore marine metal structure with sacrificial anode instillation monitor

The company is particularly interested in partnering with sacrificial anode producers and is willing to consider the following types of partnerships: license, joint venture, commercial, technical assistance, and manufacturing agreements.
