Una universidad checa ha desarrollado una tecnología para enfriar máquinas-herramientas necesarias en procesos de taladrado profundo. La unidad se ha diseñado para mezclar de forma precisa aire comprimido con aceite y puede emplearse tanto para el enfriamiento interno como externo de los taladros. El sistema combina sistemas de enfriamiento, lubricación, extracción y filtración de vapor de aceite durante el proceso de taladrado profundo. Se buscan socios industriales e investigadores para fabricar y continuar con el desarrollo de la tecnología. El objetivo es establecer acuerdos de licencia, fabricación y cooperación en materia de investigación.

Description:
University from the Czech Republic offers to industrial and research partners a technology of cooling machine tools needed in the process of drilling deep holes.
The unit is designed for precise mixing of compressed air with oil and can be used for both internal and external cooling of drilling tools (including extracting and filtering oil mist for the purpose of economic, environmental, and energy savings).
The device combines systems of cooling, lubrication, extraction systems and oil vapour filtration during the process of drilling deep holes.
To verify a commercialization character the university carried out a marketing research focused on the available technologies. They found out that this type of device is not yet available on the market.
The mobile unit has a high commercial potential already supported by realistic demand from companies.
For the engineering industry, the proposed unit is suitable for immediate integration into production.
A Czech university offers cooperation based on license agreement, manufacturing agreement and/or research cooperation agreement.
Advantages and Innovations:
- Unique system enabling cooling, lubrication with oil vapour, oil vapour extraction and filtration with efficiency of up to 90%. Combining these operations within one installation is increasing efficiency and facilitates the process of deep drilling itself.
- Minimum consumption of process liquids.
- The device is mobile due to its construction, independent of the machine tool and of supply of compressed air from the central distribution.
- Uses only one static sleeve whose internal arrangement does not require a clamping collet. In the cavity of the sleeve are no seals, so there is no risk of wear and tear and need to be replaced.
