Description:
The separation-filtration equipment and plants are designed to separate the hydrocarbons from the polluted water and are based on the effects of gravitational and centrifuge forces in several successive steps, combined with the agglomeration forces of the small particles (coalescing), in a hydrodynamic, depressurized agent (0,5 - 0,7% vacuum) with the purpose of maximizing the flotation effects of the gases dissolved in the water contained in influent before the final filtration phase. The combination of these effects in successive separation stages in a single tank contributes to obtaining a high efficiency of the separation pre-filtration process, reducing the colmation and loading degree to a minimum, maximizing their lifetime and resulting in a constant base in an effluent with hydrocarbons content lower than 10 or 5 PPM.
