Description:
The German company has developed a completely new technology that allows scanning finger and documents on the same surface. The colour fingerprint scanner can scan four fingers simultaneously with 1000 ppi, and helps to considerably reduce costs.

It is based on the new NAOS (= Normal Absorption Optical Sensor) technology. The company uses a fibre optic plate instead of prisms. The surface of this fiber optic plate is built of 200,000,000 melted optical fibers, and therefore enables very accurate color fingerprint scans which contain more information than usual scanners. Especially individual biological characteristics from the deeper skin layers are brought out clearly.

The wear-free surface does not go blind despite heavy usage.
There is no need to change the sensor surface, because scuff has no negative influence on the image quality.

The integrated 1000 ppi document scanner can scan and identify ID-cards as well as fingerprints.

Sensors are available for multi finger, roll finger and access control.
