Description:
Today, technologies for monitoring various environmental parameters are in great demand both from special organizations and from individuals. A small Russian innovative company developed a mobile station for radio-ecological monitoring, intended for individual users; it does not require special user skills.
The station is a compact mobile device for monitoring various environmental parameters that does not need frequent recharging. The station measures the following environmental parameters:
- air temperature;
- air humidity;
- atmospheric pressure;
- illuminance, ultra-violet activity;
- background radiation;
- altitude above sea level;
- noise level;
- carbon dioxide sensor;
- oxygen concentration;
- ozone sensor.

The target customer group comprises public ecological organisations, mobile ecological laboratories, ecological groups, educational institutions.
The station is a module system; it allows simultaneous reading of data from 5 measuring tools. Each tool is a separate autonomous device. The set of tools can be tailored for each customer.
The station makes use of the global positioning system.
The company looks for joint further development and testing of modules.
Advantages and Innovations:
The autonomous energy-saving station uses 3 types of power supply: solar battery for visible and ultra-violet spectrum, accumulator with a USB (Universal Serial Bus) port. The combined power supply system allows extending the period of autonomous operation by 2 times, as compared with similar mobile devices.
For data processing and mapping, cloud technologies are applied.
