The Ground Perimeter System (GPS) is a perimeter protection system, suitable answer to the increasing requirement for external perimeter protection.
This tool, to be installed completely below ground level, has a high immunity to environmental conditions and a very low rate of external system interference: the GPS allows the detection of human intrusions, silently and invisibly, while ignoring small animals, birds and other disturbances that can cause unwanted alarms to other systems.
The GPS system uses two or four parallel tubes, filled with liquid, and a system for monitoring the differences in pressure between them (microprocessor system); the variations in pressure caused by attempts to cross the protected zone are detected and analysed.
Every Multiplex GPS system is able to cover two separately identifiable perimeter zones, with a maximum length of 100 m each, while the "Stand Alone" version can cover up to 4 zones of 100 m.

These systems are installed below ground level and offer significant advantages in terms of stability and reliability.
In addition, they are invisible, and it is impossible to identify the route of the system. They can be installed on sites with irregular-shaped boundaries, guaranteeing uniform coverage.
