Description:
This is a company located in the souh of Italy which has developed a the technology tahat involves capturing the energy possessed by even small sea waves, typical of the Mediterranean Sea, to produce sustainable energy. The proposed project takes its cue from the observation of the natural scenario offered by the breaking waves and essentially involves the construction of a succession of modular concrete tanks, with an elongated development, placed in the sea, partially immersed, in an orthogonal direction to the dominant direction of the waves. They can therefore be located either on the external side (exposed to the waves) of breakwaters and breakwater barriers or in an isolated position parallel to the coast line, at a certain distance to protect the coast itself, thus also replacing the coastal defense function. Each tank has a wall exposed to the waves, suitably equipped, capable of capturing the water of the waves that break there. In the wave reflux phase, the gates close automatically due to the hydrodynamic effect, preventing the water from flowing out of the tank, or rather the gates act as "non-return valves". The water accumulated in the tank produces electricity during the transfer into the calm sea on the side sheltered by the tank itself, because during the transfer it passes through a plurality of hydraulic micro-turbines which, by turning, activate electric generators. It is in effect a hydroelectric basin in the sea, which, although small in size, is continuously fed by the waves of the sea. The innovative idea is precisely the wave capture system and the way to exploit its energy. The electricity produced can be fed into the network or can preferably be used on site for the production of hydrogen allowing a desirable development of the related supply chain. The realization of the project, which can take place with independent and autonomously functioning modules that can be replicated indefinitely along the entire coast, will make it possible to produce energy at very competitive costs, in quantities such as to drastically reduce the role of traditional fossil energies which today, instead, they play a primary and strategic role. Only to express an evaluation, albeit brief and very broad, of the potential of the system, applying, in a simplistic way, the elementary concepts of classical hydraulics, drastically simplifying the phenomenon, it is estimated that a module of 50 meters long could have an annual production of energy equal to approximately equivalent to the productivity of a photovoltaic field of approximately 8 hectares.

ENVIROMENTAL IMPACT
the production of energy takes place in a truly and fully sustainable way with a positive impact on the environment because it does not imply any negative influence on the environment at a global level, Indeed:
- a marginal water-front is occupied which cannot otherwise be used for other uses, so there is no subtraction of production space for other activities;
- the procurement of raw materials is limited to the plant construction phase only and, to a limited extent, to the maintenance phases. In fact, during the production phase, the energy obtained comes entirely from the wave motion, as the system is self-powered;
- there is no production of CO2, slag, residues or wastewater to be disposed of or stored neither in the construction phase of the plants, nor in the management phase, nor in the decommissioning phase at the end of the production cycle which;
- the sand deposited in the tank can be used for nourishment of the coasts, while the algae and encrustations, removed during maintenance, can be used for the production of biofuels;

DANGER OF PROCESSES:
- A simple technology is used that does not involve the use of toxic and / or harmful substances, already tested and in use in other areas of technology, totally free of dangers, risks and implications for the community.
- No hydrocarbons or other substances are used that can, even incidentally, produce environmental pollution.

COMMISSIONING TIMES:
The times for commissioning are relatively limited thanks to the modular construction and non-invasive industrialized prefabrication. It is possible, in fact, to create even very extensive systems as a succession of prefabricated modules, with the advantage that each module, whose construction requires relatively modest time and resources, immediately goes into production as soon as completed.
