A Turkish company developed a new smart toy software which is easily integrated to toys for kids ages from 2-5. This product will help kids better understand and learn their environment. The product has been developed in a European Project (7.FP) and now is commercialized.
While making education more effective and entertaining through their computer aided training solutions, they also offer tailored solutions to organizations, as well as lowering training costs and delivering an increase in efficiency by increasing the virtual reality.
The smart toy which company works on consists of three main parts:
*Flash animation,
*Plush toys,
*Radio-frequency identification (RFID) reader and tags.
The aim of the smart toy is to provide mixed reality environment for ages from 2-5 children to support several objectives mentioned in early childhood environmental education. Smart toy play allows children to play with not only virtual characters but also physical objects. Rather than using mouse and keyboards, children can handle plush toys to animate the virtual characters appeared on the flash animation. Compared with other digital toys, the main advantage of smart toys is to provide meaningful and interactive tasks for children by integrating virtual and physical reality. The company also provides solutions to high costs, loss of time and low rates of success encountered by many organizations, which try to solve their instructional needs with traditional methods.
