With an increasing world prevalence of renal lithiasis of 4 to 17 cases out of 1000 habitants, the development of a tool to determine the biomarker Inositol Phosphate (IP) is a great improvement in the diagnosis of the formation of renal calculus in the clinical practice.

This method for qualitative and quantitative determining the IPs is a non-chromatographic method, and is completely developed, and some results in terms of interference studies or optimization of purification, pre-concentration and recovery, are available.

Companies interested in developing the kit through a patent license agreement are being sought. The method is applicable in the healthcare sector, but also in the food sector.
