As a result of the generated heat energy of the burner, particle radiation (neutrons), high-energy radiation (gamma rays) and explosive effects are produced. With the new technology conventional fuels can thus be replaced. The company is looking for partners interested in technological or commercial co-operations or a license or financial agreement.
Description:
The German SME is mainly active in nano-technology. With their special physical know-how, they have, however, also developed a revolutionary energy technology for the controlled utilization of fusion energy.
The burner that has been developed by the SME is fuelled with water and the energy production does not require oil, gas, or other fossil or renewable fuels. In fact, the energy production takes place by means of nuclear fusion processes and the technology could be a replacement for all conventional fuels.
Base technology of the burner is a water vapour operated plasma jet discharge with Palladium as cathode material. The anode is made of Copper with a central hole. The water vapour is generated with a heating slab. A tangential vapour inlet swirl stabilizes the discharge.
Generally the technology be can applied everywhere, where conventional fuels are applied: operation of thermal energy devices and plants for electrical energy production, power units for combustion engines, turbines and burners

The current function status and the construction type of the laboratory prototype has to be developed into the state of application maturity and to be introduced to the market. The SME is looking for partners who are interested in active participation in the technical implementation, in the application or use of the technology, or in the acquisition of technology rights. A co-operation could be in form of a technological co-operation a licence or financial agreement or a commercial agreement with technical assistance. However, the SME is also open for other types of co-operation.
In case of a technological co-operation the partner should have expertise in plasma physics, solid state physics and nuclear physics.
A commercial agreement with technical co-operation would be envisaged with partners from industry interested in applying and acquiring the technology. The SME would then provide the know-how transfer necessary to implement the technology, train the staff, and provide maintenance service.

Due to the application potential the technology is also interesting for investors looking for innovative projects.
Once the technology has been brought to maturity the SME would also be interested in distribution or manufacturing agreements.
Advantages and Innovations:
The technology can replace the use of conventional fuels such as e.g. oil, gas or other fossil or even renewable fuels which have so far been necessary for the operation of thermal energy devices and plants for electrical energy production, power units for combustion engines, turbines and burners.

Compared with the extremely complicated and extremely expensive hot fusion technology, the technology under consideration is simple, cheap and locally applicable.
