A UK based global company is looking for a partner to source suitable sites and introduce to the asset owner its micro-hydro turbine technology.

The company develops innovative technologies to help clients maximise energy recovery potential from within their water network. It has developed a state of the art "in pipe" solution for micro-hydroelectric power generation.
The integrated reverse running axial pump and induction generator is designed for "in pipe" installation at final effluent outflows to harness the water energy (Head range = 2m - 10m. Flowrate = 250m³/h-10,000m³/h) and generate micro hydroelectric power (5kW-100kW).

The company has been a manufacturer of pumps and turbines since 1919 and still has its HQ in Japan while the company´s global operations are operated from the UK. The energy team was founded in 2013 with the view to design and build bespoke energy systems that can either "recycle energy" or create more "energy efficient" solutions for high energy consumers.

As a delivery partner they help to identify suitable sites or alternative locations within networks for energy recovery and assess where the generated electricity can be utilised locally to reduce OPEX (Operational Expenditure) as well as be exported to the grid. They are now looking to find similar delivery partners outside the UK to help identify other suitable sites.

The company´s hydraulic and system integration expertise can identify these opportunities and assess the feasibility, before developing a system design to achieve the most efficient and economically viable solution for each scheme. The company can then plan, tender, procure and construct all aspects of the project for the client, as well as deliver construction project management with ongoing support for operation and maintenance requirements.
