This modular system can be installed on the field to transform the fruits/vegetables in-situ.
The SME is offering its technology and know-how to partners to build adjustable mini-factory for producing fruits and vegetables powders through a technical or manufacturing agreement.
Description:
The French SME developed a technology to produce vegetable/fruit powders. This process allows to obtain stable, dried and natural fruits/vegetables without damaging vitamins, organoleptic and nutritional properties. This technology has been already tested on lemon, blackberry, kiwi, strawberry, tomato...
Moreover, this know-how represents a way to recover waste from fruits and vegetables industries as downgraded products can be used, and to optimize the transportation by drying the products in-situ after their harvesting.

The mini factory is composed of 2 parts and is adjustable according to the partner specificities:
- a drying mobile unit can be directly installed on the field, this unit provides products with a rate of 30% water, allowing to optimize the transportation from the harvesting area to the transformation site.
- a fixed unit for dehydration (at a rate around 2% water) and powdering.

The French company is seeking partners for technical or manufacturing agreement. The SME offers to study the need of the partner for drying products, to test the process on new products and then build the adaptable mini-factory by providing a technical assistance.
Advantages and Innovations:
The offered technology allows to recover the waste from fruit and vegetable production by powder processing. This mini factory optimizes the transportation: the fruits are dried to a rate of 30% of water directly on the production site, thus helping to reduce the carbon footprint. This low-temperature process provides stable, dried and powdered products by keeping vitamins, organoleptic properties and fibres with no additives (such as sugar or maltodextrine used in the products already in the market).
