Un instituto de I+D polaco ha desarrollado un nuevo motor síncrono de imán permanente de arranque directo en línea con circuitos magnéticos que tienen nuevas estructuras. Se trata de una solución energéticamente eficiente e innovadora para el sistema de accionamiento de motores eléctricos. El uso de este motor permite reducir el consumo de energía, prolongar su durabilidad, aumentar la eficiencia y mantener su tamaño pequeño si se compara con los motores de inducción actuales. Se buscan socios con el fin de establecer acuerdos comerciales.

Use of this motor will allow to: reduce energy consumption, prolong its durability, increase efficiency while maintaining small size.

Description:
Technology offer concerns a permanent magnet synchronous motor with direct-on-line starting, with new structures of magnetic circuits exited with permanent magnets is an innovative, energy-efficient solution for drive system with electric motors.

The use of this motor as a drive mechanism will allow to:
- reduce energy consumption,
- prolong its durability and reliability,
- increase its general efficiency while maintaining small sizes in comparison with induction motors commonly used as of now.

Construction of drive motors with greater efficiency than in currently used induction motors requires to use advanced materials in their structures, permanent magnets in particular. As a result of their specific usage, motors should be adjusted to the variable mode of drives operation, which determines energy consumption rationalization. Motors reliability should not be lower and its exploitation should not be worse than in the case of induction motors, which means the application of the simplest construction possible of the machines where these motors will be used.

Technical parameters of the developed motor are as follows:

The motor can be used as a drive element of all machines with electric drive which the motor will be able to power. Motor´s main application may be in mobile equipment that is used in various places and, as a result, is intended to be easily moved and need to be provided with proper power source in field usage conditions. Such equipment includes, among others, bench, floor, and circular saws, wall chasers, board cutters, electric drilling rigs.

Institute is looking for a commercial partner for cooperation and implementation innovative engine on a market.
Advantages and Innovations:
As a result of performed works and motor prototype testing in real conditions (in cooperation with a company offering devices powered with electrical motors) the following advantages of using this newly developed motor have been observed in comparison with the currently used induction motor.
- smaller external dimensions and decreased weight while maintaining at least the same working parameters as in the case of induction motors,
- increased efficiency in motor load function,
- higher power factor in motor load function,
- lower level of consumed energy from the grid in motor load function.

Specific data and diagrams comparing the operations of both motors can be shared with interested entities. All these parameters and research results indicate that the newly developed motor can successfully replace currently used induction motors, and its parameters are better with regard to exploitation.
