Esta herramienta se conecta a un software educativo que incluye herramientas para comprensión, pruebas y ejercicios de participación y expresión. La pantalla se conecta al PC del estudiante de manera que el profesor pueda verla fácilmente a simple vista. La empresa busca socios con el fin de establecer acuerdos de licencia.


Innovative learning tool based on an extra screen
A Spanish ICT company has developed a pedagogical tool that aids communication in the classroom via and extra screen, visually increasing students interaction. It is connected to an educational software, which includes tools for comprehension, tests and participation and expression exercises. The company is looking for license agreements.
It is a fact that teachers do not always have the certainty that their students have fully understood a lesson. Many students do not like to ask questions for different reasons (for example because they feel embarrassed).

The solution developed by the Spanish ICT company, addresses this problem via an extra screen/display for each student, that is connected to every PC in a way that can be easily seen by the teacher at a glance (see video:

The content displayed, is managed by each student through a specific software allowing them to display different icons or texts depending on the activity:

-Comprehension: Student can express in real-time whether they have understood a concept/subject or whether they didn´t catch it all (for example displaying a green or red item).
-Quick test: The students display the answer they think is correct.
-Free test colours: The students can write the answer to an open question. The same replies are shown in the same colour allowing the teacher to check it and thus know how the class has done at glance.
-Feedback: The students can express their viewpoint on a variety of issues presented by the teacher, by designing their own icons to display.

The solution also presents two interesting features:
-On or of task: This feature provides information to the teacher regarding what students are doing because they may be on-task or might be surfing the web.
-App detector: It allows teachers to ensure that students are using the correct application.

The solution is offered in three different formats (see pictures attached):
-Integrated into a tablet/laptop
-As as an external gadget connected via USB
-Incorporated into special covers for the Intel NUC ( four-by-four inch mini PC)

The Spanish company is looking for international integrators within the education sector willing to cooperate under a license agreement in order to market this technology within schools and education centres.
