El material contiene un 98% de bambú, es orgánico e hipoalergénico. Los productos de bambú ligeros son tan resistentes y duraderos como los productos fabricados con madera industrial. Este material se emplea para fabricar puertas, revestimientos de paredes, suelos y techos, muebles, etc. Se buscan socios en la UE y Sudeste Asiático con el fin de establecer acuerdos de joint venture o comercialización con asistencia técnica.

The market of building and furnishing materials has a growing demand for natural, light, lasting and warm panels with enhanced heat and sound insulation parameters. Honeycomb bamboo panels are highly competitive, they can form a new segment in the range of laminated building and finishing natural boards.
A Russian company from Moscow, specialized in production of building and furnishing materials and furniture from natural bamboo, has developed a new technology for production of honeycomb bamboo panels used for manufacture of a wide range of building elements and components. The offered material contains 98% of natural bamboo and only 2% of reinforcing net and the Japanese non-toxic composite (phenol-formaldehyde-free glue) that makes it eco-friendly and hypoallergenic. Natural bamboo slowly catch fire. The technology provides zero-waste production: 100% of raw material is processed. The offered material is an alternative to solid boards - OSB (Oriented Strand Board), MDF (Medium Density Fibreboard), Chipboard and industrial wood. It can be successfully used for production of doors, window sills, stairs, wall panels, floor and ceiling covering, cabinet furniture and elements of low-height housing construction.
The company is looking for a partner interested in establishing a joint production in EU-countries and South-East Asia.
Advantages and Innovations:
The innovative aspect of the technology lies in use of bamboo stems cut not lengthwise (veneer like), but crosswise - cylinder-like (tubular elements). The cylinders are assembled into matrices and monolithed by means of adhesives between the surface layers. Coating can be bamboo or other natural materials (like wood and cork). The obtained light and strong honeycomb lattice is multi-purpose for production of doors, furniture, floor covering and wall panels.
It is competitive compared to similar materials:
* light weight: 90-110 kg/m3 (for comparison, fir wood - 500-1100 kg/m3, MDF - 600-900 kg/m3, Chipboard - 400-1200 kg/m3);
* great hardness: Brinnel hardness is about twice greater than that of fir wood;
* Thank to natural long-fibred acicular structure, bamboo has high tensile characteristics: average tensile strength during tension along fibers: 170 mPa (for all wood < 130 mPa);
* There are no internal stresses in the honeycomb structure, that's why the new material has stable shape under variations of temperature and humidity of environment.
* Laminated honeycomb bamboo panels possess heat-insulating and soundproof characteristics;
* The production is waste-free;
*Bamboo belongs to slow-burning materials;
* Bamboo grows fast and it is renewable material source, that is highly important for modern ecology: forest regeneration is 2-5 years.
