Description:
The proposed technology for wet feed supplements combines the use of Amaranth green material, which has a unique saturated composition and a very high crop yield (protein content in Amaranth leaves reaches 20-30% in terms of dry substances; the protein is perfectly balanced in amino acids content) and a unique high-producing method of its processing.
The technology is based on the use of an innovative chipper-extractor; it exposes the plant material, in the presence of extractant, to mechanical and acoustic vibrations of ultrasonic range. Thus, the physiologically active compounds are extracted from plants to the extractant.
The technology and the products obtained are featured with the following properties:
- mild extraction conditions providing maximum output and preservation of bioactive substances, as well as enhancing the nutritional value and digestibility of the initial plant material, due to partial destruction of biopolymers and transition of nutrients in the easy-to-digest soluble form.
- high nutritional value, due to the selection of raw material with a high protein content with a unique amino acid composition (approaching in Amaranth to protein of animal origin);
- good storage ability of the product (over one year at T= +25C), the minimum effective dose (0,003...0,6% of feed compound weight), which minimizes the storage and transportation costs;
- high economic efficiency, due to considerable increase in the feed conversion ratio, when using a bioactive substances (BAS) instead of the raw material (grass meal) that makes possible to reduce costs of the expensive raw materials by the dozens, as calculated per unit of livestock output (eggs and chicken), high profitability achieved through the low cost and high efficiency of the proposed bioactive substances.

Advantages and Innovations:

The technology is based on the use of the original integrated mechanical-acoustic chipper-extractor, under mechanical and acoustic vibrations of ultrasonic range, the physiologically active compounds are extracted from plants to the extractant.
The advantages of the product obtained are as follows:
- high digestibility provided by partial decomposition of complex natural polymer molecules into simpler high absorption forms (proteins - into the soluble fraction and polypeptide, fats - into triglycerides and unsaturated fats; fibre - into poly-, di-, and monosaccharides);
- considerable immunomodulatory effect due to the high sorption capacity and complexing ability of the extracted pectin and the presence of a complex of physiologically active compounds (alkaloids, glycosides, saponins, phenol compounds, flavonoids, enzymes, vitamins, plant hormones);
- absence of toxicitym, due to aseptic and pasteurizing effect of the raw material reprocessing in the colloidal chipper-extractor.
