The lumber on its way from the forest to become finished material has to be dried. The aim of wood drying technologies is to reduce the moisture content of wood. Due to differences in inner structure, different kind of wood takes different time to vaporise water off. The proposed technology of Lithuanian company could help to dry different kinds of woods more than 22x faster. Faster drying speed drastically increases
performance. The technology is based on the following principle: Infrared heaters emit waves supplying energy that causes the oscillation of the electrons within the atoms of a dense body (wood).
