Description:
An Icelandic SME that has developed a novel and innovative crusher technology within the processing of animal tissue into value adding materials.

This crushing technology is based on knives and is best suited for double axed crushers who crush mainly in the middle. This enables the crushing to be on top and on to the sides which makes it more efficient. More information will be available upon demonstration or video.

This new technology has been field tested for two years with excellent results. The companies that use the crushers today are in the field of cattle rendering, egg shells rendering and fish rendering. This could also be used with other animal materials including bone crushing for gelatine production.

The company is looking for commercial agreement with technical assistance and/or joint venture for this innovative new crusher technology. Ideal partner would be a company that is already producing and marketing their own crushers in the field of rendering or manufacturers of industrial meat grinders.
Advantages and Innovations:

- 50% less energy consumption.
- Less wear and tear of machinery - easier maintenance.
- Crushes into small pieces but also much bigger pieces than the standard today (but two machines are needed for that same purpose today).
- Cuts into suitable pieces for animal tissue to be frozen or heated.
- Cuts into suitable pieces for tubes used in the processing of the tissues.
- Also works well with machines that crush fish and fish skin.
